The Medical Advisory Council is responsible for advising the Boards on medical practice and related issues, including:
- issues facing the medical profession that are relevant to Avant's membership
- reviewing professional development opportunities
- developing policies for dealing with membership issues; and
- facilitating relationships with relevant medical institutions.
