Doctors in Training
Avant has listened to your needs: our Doctor in Training (DIT) package for those in post-graduate year 3 and beyond offers a membership and insurance package for a flat annual $100 base premium (before taxes and charges). The package includes full membership benefits including 24/7 emergency medico-legal advice, and broad medical indemnity cover - including cover for private sector training, unlimited locums and surgical assisting outside of a training program.
Hospital Employed Doctors
Doctors employed in the public health system are generally indemnified by their employer for civil claims, but may need additional cover for disciplinary matters, coronial inquiries, employment disputes or private practice outside their hospital employment.
