There has been considerable media attention over the past few weeks regarding Poly Implant Prosthesis (PIP) breast implants. In April 2010 non-implanted PIP breast implants were recalled in Australia.
The Australian Government has set up a 24 hour hotline - 1800 217 257 - for patients concerned about breast implants.
