7 tips to study success

  1. Create a ‘study space’ – somewhere that is comfortable and free from interruptions.
  2. Plot your study schedule–list your tasks and their due dates, and schedule in study breaks.
  3. Study at your best – choose the time of day when you’re most attentive.
  4. Maintain balance – it’s difficult to study if you’re tired, hungry or run down. Get plenty of rest and maintain a balanced diet.
  5. Break big tasks into smaller milestones– this helps transform that feeling of being overwhelmed into a sense of cumulative achievement as you cross off each milestone from your list.
  6. Focus on one task at a time.
  7. Take breaks when you’re fatigued – you’ll know when this is.
