Technology in practice for practice managers

  • An online information session to help you incorporate telehealth processes that ensure workplace safety, patient privacy and standard of care.

Many medical practices are embracing the benefits of telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the technology can be challenging, creating the need for new practice processes that streamline telehealth services and reduce risk.

To help your practice adapt to this method of healthcare delivery, Avant’s recent live online ‘Ask the Expert’ webinar, Telehealth: Technology in practice for practice managers, looked at how to provide telehealth safely and efficiently.

In the one-hour session, our expert panel present case scenarios, insights from Avant research and practical risk mitigation strategies. Topics include:

    • • exploring the guidelines and advice around telehealth
    • • how telehealth is more than simply installing technology, it’s about creating processes
    • • the benefits and challenges of email and SMS, such as patient privacy and data security.
