Avant Mutual Board Director Nominations NOW OPEN
Nominations are now open for Voting Members to stand for election to the Board of Avant Mutual Group Limited.
Voting Members with the experience, capabilities and attributes the Avant Mutual Board is seeking are encouraged to nominate and stand for election in 2026.
Nominations close on Monday 10 August 2026 at 5:00pm (AEST)
Who we’re looking for
The Avant Mutual Board is committed to attaining and maintaining skill, culture and gender diversity to reflect our membership. Accordingly, this year, applications from Voting Members with deep health industry knowledge, who are female and/or from culturally diverse backgrounds are particularly welcome.

Eligibility
Nominees need to:
- be a current Avant Voting Member and have held that status for at least three consecutive years
- be able to meet the time commitment – approximately 20 days per year plus preparation time. Meetings are held in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Before you commence your nomination

To nominate, you will need to complete the online Nomination form and provide:
- a cover letter (maximum 2 pages)
- your CV
- a completed Director Success Profile self-assessment form
- endorsement from 2 current Voting Members
